As President & Chief Strategy Officer of GISI, Scott Kolbrenner supports the leadership of STO Building Group and GISI Consulting Group in their efforts to drive organic & strategic growth and to execute capital strategies that align with the Company’s core values and long-term shareholder objectives. With three decades of experience advising leaders throughout the Engineering & Consulting industry and developing deep relationships in the financial community, Scott’s perspective helps shape the Company’s strategic direction and enhance long-term shareholder value.
Prior to joining GISI, Scott served as a Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey, where he led the Engineering & Infrastructure Services practice, sat on the Management Committee, and co-led the Houlihan Lokey Impacts Charitable Committee. Throughout his career, he has executed diverse transactions spanning mergers & acquisitions, financing, restructurings, and strategic advisory engagements. Earlier in his career, Scott developed expertise in capital markets financing at Lehman Brothers and practiced law at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
Scott previously served on the Board of Governors for the Los Angeles Region of Pacific Clinics and was a member of Young Presidents’ Organization. Scott holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
