Rick is a co-founder and GISI’s President and CEO. He focuses on working with our partner companies and our executives in developing effective strategic initiatives. These include strategic mergers and organic growth plans taking advantage of our liquidity and capital market relationships, and the synergies between our companies.
To meet our clients’ growing needs for integrated services, Rick also provides the leadership to enable GISI to provide services from planning-design through PM/CM services and including project finance opportunities.
Prior to taking on a managing role at GISI, he was president and CEO of Lowe Real Estate, a private real estate company with current development projects of more than $2B and over $4B of assets under management. There, he was responsible for Lowe’s development and construction management activity, and the company’s investment in and operations of commercial office, industrial, multi-family, mixed-use and institutional projects throughout the country.
He is a director of GISI as well as Lowe Enterprises. He has served on numerous professional and charitable boards including the Simms Mann Center for Integrative Oncology at the University of California Los Angeles, Urban Land Institute Los Angeles District Council, Park Century School, West Los Angeles County Council of Boy Scouts of America, and Young Presidents’ Organization-Gold Angeleno Chapter.
Rick completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Science studies at Stanford University, and graduated with Masters of Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
