As CFO, Jeff is the primary contact for GISI’s extensive relationships in the capital markets, working with the CFOs of our partner companies and GISI’s President. He partnered with our Chairman in the founding of GISI and was instrumental in developing its concept for GISI’s initial merger with STO.

Jeff continues to broaden our long-term relationships with capital providers to ensure GISI and its companies have in addition to its current liquidity, favorable access to capital while maintaining conservative leverage. Jeff is also a natural leader in change management with a gift for guiding enterprises to reach their full potential. 

Having served in the infrastructure and energy sectors for more than 20 years, he has represented leading companies in North America, Europe and Asia.

As president and CEO of HawaiiGAS, he increased EBITDA by 300% in five years while pioneering the use of new energy sources for Hawaii.

Prior to HawaiiGAS, he focused on environmental engineering, renewable energy, and environmental remediation. He served in senior leadership positions shaping corporate strategy, developing new technologies, and preparing private and public enterprises to participate successfully in the 21st Century global economy.

He was president and CEO of Safe Renewables, a marketer and producer of Biodiesel; vice chairman, EVP, and chief strategy officer for Primoris, serving the energy and utility industry; CFO for Earth Tech, a global engineering and construction company; and vice president of planning and budgeting for URS Corporation, as well as president and CFO for several URS divisions.
