As GISI’s Managing Director, Dan leads GISI’s strategic growth in project and construction management, engaging with current and new potential partner companies which may benefit from teaming or merging with GISI to better serve their clients. He is also available to share with our partner companies the unique aspects of his 30 years of expertise and experiences in the industry. Dan’s experiences include a wide range of building projects of a global scale. An example being his role as corporate executive on MGM Mirage’s City Center in Las Vegas, which is the largest private development in the history of the United States.
At AECOM, following the merger with Tishman Construction in 2010, Dan was CEO of Tishman Construction in 2012, Group President of AECOM’s Building Construction in 2014, and then served as the Group President of Construction Services from 2015 to 2018. Dan joined Tishman Construction in 1984 as an Assistant Superintendent. Having spent his career with both large private and public companies, Dan sees great value in the GISI model where more than 50% of our employees can build wealth through ownership.
Dan has lectured on large project delivery at MIT, Columbia and Cornell University. Dan received an MBA from Fordham University and a BS in Civil Engineering from Cornell University. He is on the Board of Directors of the Construction Industry Round Table and Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corp, and Advisory Board Member of Cornell University Civil Engineering School.
