GISI’s STO has continued to grow and diversify over the past 3 years and has been fortunate to attract best in class talent to our teams. In keeping with that model, I am pleased to announce that Richard C. Lee will be joining GISI as Managing Director and Chief Accounting Officer.
He will be responsible for managing key elements of our strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions programs and developing improved systems for accounting and financial reporting capabilities. Rich will be on point to further enhance our accounting policy and procedures and to monitor and validate accounting and audit integrity compliance. He will also work with partner firms, subsidiaries and outside consultants to assure that accounting best practices are being used across all platforms.
Rich brings to GISI and its partner firms more than twenty-eight years of experience in public accounting working on domestic and cross border mergers and acquisitions – with corporate, private equity and infrastructure investors. He was a partner at KPMG LLP and previously a partner at Arthur Anderson LLP.
Rich will be working with Rob Sterzenbach, Corporate Controller, under the direction of Jeff Kissel, GISI CFO and in consort with Brett Phillips, STO’s CFO. Together they will provide the financial corporate leadership and direction within GISI and across all platforms.
